Bush a disaster for US and Iraq

President Bush has severely damaged this country. We are now mired in an Iraq war that we cannot win and when we leave, the civil war now raging will intensify. We are not safer and the Iraqi people certainly are not better off. The just war in Afganistan has been ignored, allowing the September 11 architect Osama Bin Laden freedom to forify his power base and the Taliban to rise again.

Bush will now leave this mess for the next administration. Our children and grandchildren will pay a heavy price in the future for the negative goodwill his presidency has spread across the globe. Shame on all our representatives who voted for this war based on the flimsiest of evidence.

Once again, we have been led into an unjust war that destroys both the invaded nation and ourselves. I want a stop to this, and the sooner the better. We cannot win in Iraq, period. Our only option in Iraq is to abandon the cities, allowing the gruesome civil war to play out or until Sunni and Shiite moderates agree to end the bloodshed. It's going to be horrific to watch. Shame on Bush for leading America into this mess.

It appears that GW will protect Haliburton's oil fields in Iraq until he is threatened with impeachment. The price until then: Our sons and daughters.

Carl Rove has written and rewritten GW's FEAR dogma. The American people are tired of his fear mongering.

Never in the American history have the American people had to endure a "vegetable" as a President.
